Pickhan Gaskets - TYTON ® Gaskets and TYTON SIT ® Gaskets

We manufacture and sell gaskets for almost all areas of application. Mainly focussed on solutions for the plant-, apparatus-, vessel- and machinery construction, we have been manufacturing and selling moulded parts and gaskets made to drawings or your samples in Siegen since 1995.

Even special wishes are no problem for us and will be made according to our customer’s wishes.
Our technical rubber or plastic articles are used in nearly all industrial applications.

Since the beginning of 2010 we offer products of the TYTON ®series; from normal TYTON ® gaskets and  TYTON SIT ® gaskets, FZM sleeves and marking rings to union rings.

In order to guarantee a tight and firm sleeve connection for constructing water pipes, the Tyton SIT® was further developed from the Tyton connection.  Here a special washer with vulcanised locking segments made from corrosion resistant chromium steel is the basis for this internal shear resistance, whereby the shear forces are absorbed. Without problem the individual gasket segments adapt to the pipe tolerances by being turned in the area of the suspension bulge. The thrust forces are absorbed by the wedge-shaped notches of the segments forcibly interlocking with the pipe surface.  Tyton SIT® can be obtained in the nominal widths of DN 80 – 400 and with an operating pressure up to 10/16 bar.
